This gorgeous, completely private property is the place to have a wedding (indoor or outside), and then you can stay in the main building for the honeymoon. It is also an excellent place to host a family reunion, or a corporate retreat for the entire staff as up to 18 guests can stay at the property if you rent both buildings. Whether for the weekend or the entire week for the boss and his family. This property has so much to offer for a great holiday or get-away. It is very quiet and private with 400 acres of land to yourself. There are many ATV trails and even a private lake for swimming or fishing.

The Main building resembles a lodge with the rich wood interiors, open concept great room, and beautiful massive stone fireplace with electric fireplace insert. It is furnished with very rich, leather furniture and gorgeous rugs, and still has that cozy feeling. You have a great view of the lake from the many windows, and a patio door opens to he large deck. The Main House (#501) has 3 good sized bedrooms, so it will sleep up to 8 people. If you have more than 8 quests, you can rent the Coach House for up to 10 more quests (see #502). The kitchen has everything you could possibly imagine and more! The dining room table can seat 10 at a time for a meal. There is even a warming table to keep food at a good temperature for the next seating. Downstairs you will find a huge recreational or game room, containing a ping pong table, large screen TV, satellite, DVD and VCR. One entire wall has been crafted with beautiful stones found in the area and they are accented with comfortable lighting.

The trails around the lake, are well marked and all lead back to the main building (please check with us on the availability of the trails). A huge firepit just below the main building is a great place to spend the evening. The lake is not huge, but clean, very private and has excellent fishing, rainbow trout and bass are waiting to be caught. In the summer time there are several different water crafts, a row boat, canoe, paddleboat and a great diving raft on the water. In the winter a skating rink is constructed on the lake as soon as possible and trails are still accessible by snowmobile or cross country skiing. The main house is connected to the Coach House by a covered walkway with a view of the horseshoe pit and the garden. The Coach House is discussed more at reference #502. You really do want to bring all your food with you so you do not have to leave once you get here. This is truly a beautiful property!

This property is located about 30 minutes from the town of Bancroft. This little town has many things to offer tourists, even with guided tours of our area's mines. Bancroft is known as the "Mineral Capital of Canada", and there are many old mines to explore. Our new hospital is about 30 minutes from this cottage. We have 2 major grocery stores, No Frills and Foodland, as well as a great deli & bakery - Zehr's. We also have several good antique and gift shops. Oh yes, and Tim Horton's, Subway, Pizza Pizza and McDonald's too. Vito's Restaurant serves Italian food, and Thomas Oliver's offers great pub food. A live Theater production is usually on schedule for the summer months and the theater is just a short walk from our Dairy Queen!

Our  removed  Inc. office is conveniently located in beautiful downtown Bancroft, at 73 Hastings Street North. Children who holiday with us, may come in to our office and choose one gift!
