Highway House on West Lake is a beautifully restored, circa 1840’s heritage vacation home with enhanced contemporary features and conveniences. Located amidst the charming and picturesque area of West Lake,north shore, this heritage “County” property is an ideal location to pamper yourself, your family and friends. Located at 15861 Loyalist Parkway, (Hwy 33), minutes from the world famous Sandbanks Beach and Outlet Beach as well as shops, local produce markets, award-winning wineries, fabulous cuisine, art galleries, hiking & biking trails and rich cultural traditions.

We are also proud of the fact that we have one (1) of the only two (2) Tulip Maple trees that are presently growing in Prince Edward County. The tree is estimated to be at least 80 years old. Also, we equally proud to own a original Georgian home that stood on the property since 1840. Before that, the Van Der Mere family constructed a large log cabin, circa 1794. Highway House has a wonderful history much like the rest of Prince Edward County.
