The cabin is set on 160ac on the Matawan river 50klm west of Thunder Bay. The log cabin was built 6 years ago from wood taken from the property. There are lots of hiking trails and fishing is allowed on the river. Canoe rentals available 1 klm down river.

The log cabin was built in 1999, and is set on 140 acres in the forests of Northwestern Ontario. It has an open plan with sleeping for 2-4 people, a bathroom with shower, dining area for four, living room with seating for six and a wood burning fireplace. All linens and towels will be provided. Outside there are lots of lawns with a large fire pit. Sit on the deck overlooking the Matawan River and watch the wild life: Deer, Moose Canada Geese and River Otter. Walk on the trails and watch the bald eagles, marvel at the beaver dams and enjoy the peace and quiet. Contact -Janet Carswell
