A deposit of 30% of total rental is due at the time of booking.
The balance of the total rental cost is due on or before 2 weeks prior to arrival
A Security Deposit of $500.00 CAD is due with the Final Payment payment.
Security deposit refunds will normally be sent out no later than 30 days after you leave the rental property.

All rates are in $CAD. Weekly rates are for 7 nights and weekend rates are per night.

Our year-round retreat is located on the waterfront of Farlain Lake near Penetanguishene and Midland, ON. From the cottage it takes only a few quick steps to the sandy beach and into the crystal clear lake. The temperature of the water is perfect for a dip or for lounging on the floats that are provided. The shallow beach is great for families with children as they can be supervised from shore, as well as from the upper level deck that overlooks the lake front. 

The cottage has new furniture (indoor and outdoor), Serta Perfect-Sleeper mattresses, all new kitchen appliances, and new sporting equipment. The upper level bedrooms and the living room have hardwood floors.

The view from the deck over the lake is stunning, especially in the quiet morning hours when you want to enjoy the sunrise. From early morning to late afternoon the sun is shining on the beach area as well as on the deck, but oak and birch trees can provide some welcome shade. 

Guests are welcome to bring their jet skis or boats, which they can lower into the lake on a nearby ramp. The dock on our beach is great for launching the kayak or for leisurely hours in the sun. Awenda Provincial Park is nearby, and guests can hike and bike on the trails within, or swim in Georgian Bay from the beaches within the park. In the winter the avid snowmobilers and cross-country skiers have direct access to groomed trails. 

Nearby Penetanguishene and Midland offer shopping, entertainment, museums and other attractions for all ages and tastes.
