A deposit of 30% of total rental is due at the time of booking.

A Security Deposit of $500.00 CAD is due with the Final Payment payment.
Security deposit refunds will normally be sent out no later than 30 days after you leave the rental property.

The cottage is located on crystal clear Horn lake, just 35 minutes north of Huntsville Ont. It has a beautiful view from the large deck looking out onto the lake. Just in front of the lake stands three tall majestic pines. The cottage is one and a half stories tall, has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a washroom. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs. There is a large master bedroom with a double bed, and two other  bedrooms, each sleep two. The cottage has a comfortable capacity of 6 people. The Kitchen has an stove/oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer unit, a sink and a dining table. Located in the living room is a stereo system, television (sorry no cable or satelite) with a DVD-VCR, there is also a collection of movies and books along with comfy chairs and a couch. The bathroom is fully equipped with a shower, toilet, and a sink. 
Enjoy stunning sunsets and and slow suppers on our large deck area. (30 x 12) Perfect for dining on or just relaxing. There are two outdoor tables on the deck each with four comfy chairs, umbrellas etc.. Also included is a barbecue and spare propane cylinder. In front of the sundeck is a sloping grass area with a flagstone path that leads down to the waterfront. At the side of the cottage is a flagstone patio complete with muskoka chairs for a comfy and quiet area. The cottage comes with a canaoe, Kayak, paddle boat swim raft and a collection of fishing poles, toys etc.

Nestled in the heart of the Almaguin Highlands and the Near North cottage country, the area around Burk's Falls was first settled by loggers during the 1860's. One of these settlers was David Francis Burk of Oshawa, who beached his canoe at the foot of the falls on the beautiful Magnetawan River in the autumn of 1875. He chose his land under the Free Land Grant Act. Mr. Burk and Mr. Knight, who had arrived about the same time, made what might have been the first governmental decision in the village, they flipped a coin, and the settlement became known as Burk's Falls. The Village of Burk's Falls was eventually incorporated in 1890. The Village of Burk's Falls is located 165 miles north of Toronto on  removed  corridor between Huntsville and North Bay at the junction of Highway 11 and 520 in the District of Parry Sound. The Village is situated 55 miles south of North Bay and 20 miles north of Huntsville.
