South
Western Ontario vacation rentals are in the area of South Western
Ontario. It is situated between two of the great Lakes, Erie and

region of Kitchener-Waterloo is rich in German heritage and it's here

The St. Jacobs Farmers' Market is one of the oldest Farmers market in
Canada. Here you can see the traditional handicrafts of the
Mennonites as well as homemade treats, handmade quilts and fresh
vegetables from the nearby farms. The Elora Gorge is also here.
Waterfalls, caves and soaring limestone walls and rapids make for a
great day hike. In Cambridge there is even a traditional Lion Safari,
with zebras, monkeys as well as the lions.
London
Ontario, is home to the University of Western Ontario. In the Bruce
Peninsula area, there is the
Fathom
Five National Marine Park.
The
towns of Amherstburg, Dresden, Chatham, Puce, and North Buxton were
all stops on the secret Underground Railway that once carried
American slaves to freedom in Canada.
The
world famous Stratford Shakespeare Festival is located here in
Stratford Ontario. The Stratford Festival of Canada is an annual
celebration of
theatre running from April to November. This region is full of quaint
antiques shops and cafes. The
Bruce Trail,
Canada's oldest and longest footpath, provides the only continuous
public access to the magnificent Niagara Escarpment. It is UNESCO
World Biosphere Reserve.
